Another year over and a new one just begun…
Another busy year for us at Flora’s bare. We are forever appreciative of our loyal clients, who, like us, are committed to natural skincare and taking the best care of their skin and the planet by using Flora’s bare and trusting in us to take care of them, naturally. Clean Beauty…

We started the year with several trade shows, most importantly the SECOND annual Clean Beauty show in London, where we confirmed that we have been doing, what many other skincare lines are trying to replicate, right from the very beginning of our existence 5 years ago!
One thing that stood out was that many skincare companies employ ‘White Label’ companies (a business that creates your product for you and you put your name to it) to do what we do everyday ourselves - formulate their products! Keep in mind as Beauty Therapists we are ‘hands on’ with our products everyday, each product has been tested on our amazing clients in our studio in Vancouver. Thank you to our amazing human guinea pigs - you know who you are and we love you xxx

Once again we have received our Leaping Bunny certificate, which we have committed to since the beginning of Flora’s bare!
This certification means that we are free of animal testing or association with any companies who may. See definition below:

So proud to announce that our bare charcoal & sage mask received a bronze award for best charcoal product!🎖
And our bare blue tansy and hyaluronic acid serum was one of the finalists in the best anti-ageing NATURAL serum!🎖
Packaging, Packaging…
As many of you are aware this year has proved to be a challenging one when it comes to packaging!
We are committed to using as little plastic as possible as we know that only a very small percentage of it is actually recycled.
This year our main supplier decided to just stop selling our glass bottles with no warning and only a few months before Christmas! We scrambled to find a new supplier, which we did, but our line now looks slightly different.
We’ve also had, it seems, never-ending problems with our pumps. But our new supplier has come up tops with a brand new pumps which so far we’ve had great feedback with. Thank you for your patience everyone, let’s hope it all continues to come together.
Here’s a reminder of why we use ONLY glass and aluminium.Every single piece of plastic ever made still exists, and will continue existing for at least 500 years
🐘Plastic leaches toxic chemicals into the soil and groundwater to directly choke or poison animals who unwittingly ingest it.
🐋Only 9% of plastic has ever been recycled
Plastic also leaches toxins into your skincare products, which you put directly onto your skin and into your blood stream.
At Flora’s you will find that ALL of our products are in either glass or aluminum containers as both are infinitely recyclable.
